Two years ago The Transplants drummer Travis Barker
announced the band had reunited and would begin
writing for a new album that year.  After being in and
out of the studio working on new material the band
wrapped up recording in December 2011.  In 1999
Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong and Rob Aston started
the beginnings of what would become The Transplants
with
Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker joining in 2002.
The band rose to fame with their hits “Diamonds &
Guns” and “DJ DJ” off their debut self titled album in
2002 and “Gangsters & Thugs” their sophmore
release,
Haunted Cities, in 2005. That year the band
toured with the
Van’s Warped Tour which gained
them new fans but later disbanded the following year.
The bands highly antiticpated third album is expected
to drop this spring and will be playing their first show
in almost 6 years with a sold out show at The Roxy in
Hollywood, CA early next month.

near you check our tour dates section.

October 18 , 2011 1:00pm
Sorry for the lack of updates I was out of town dealing
with a family emergency and just returned over the
weekend.

I have some new sets of photos I will getting up this
week of
New Years Day at the Whisky A Go Go and
Sex N Violence at the Dragonfly.

And while out of town I was able to find most of the
photos I had taken between 2001 and 2006.  I know
I'm missing some still.  Most of these photos pretty
much no one has seen except for people who bought
our print magazine before August 2005.  I will be
scanning and uploading sets randomly over the next
few weeks.  I believe we still may have a couple copies
of various issues in storage somewhere that we may
run a contest for.

Expect sets of photos of
Simple Plan, Good Charlotte,
Avril Lavigne, Damone, Bullets & Octane, Allister,
Gob, Diffuser, Less Than Jake, Eve 6, Bandcamp,
Letter Kills, Autopilot Off & more over the next few
weeks.

In other news, we have recieved word that
Autopilot
Off
have recently gotten back together and have been
working on new music.  Expect new music soon and
hopefully a tour.

February 29, 2008 11:59pm
On Wednesday evening AntiProduct was asked to
drop off the show with Wednesday 13 this Sunday
night at the Penny Arcade in Rochester, NY.
Wednesday 13 is refusing to play with the band for
reasons unknown.  Here is the official statement
released from AntiProduct:

Due to circumstances beyond our control, AntiProduct will
NOT be performing at the Penny Arcade in Rochester on
March 2. We are hugely disappointed at this
developement and have it on good advice that the
promoters of Sunday's event were personally contacted
by Wednesday 13's management that if former touring
partners AntiProduct were on the bill Wednesday 13
would not perform.

You can make your own deductions from this
information, as we're sure many of you will, but we find it
very selfish if not cowardly for an established artist like
Wednesday 13's management to resort to these sort of
bullying tactics, depriving both AntiProducuct's new
Rochester fans as well as his own long time fans of what
could have been a very, very special night of rock 'n' roll.
After all, it's the kids who are the boss in the equation
and deserve only everything that an artist can provide.
This does not include threats and scare tactics, at least in
the world of AntiProduct.

We will make this up to you in no uncertain terms and
kick your ass twice as hard when we do!

The lineup for Sunday's show is Wednesday 13, the
AKAs, Creature Feature, The Vincent Black Shadows
and others.

Allister have just announced that they will be going on
"indefinite hiatus". Here is the message bassist Scott
Murphy posted on MySpace today:

"
Before we left for this last Japanese tour in October, Tim
got the news that he was going to become a father. We
had the whole 3 months in Japan to discuss what would
become of Allister, and in the end Tim made the
responsible decision to start a job that wouldn’t take him
out of the country for months at a time. He wanted to be
home with his girlfriend during the pregnancy, and
throughout the upbringing of their child. We had already
confirmed a Japanese tour for March, and since Tim has
already entered the work force, we have asked his
brother Chris to join us overseas. We will be booking a
show in Chicago, which for all intents and purposes will
be billed as our last show. I’ll post the info when it comes.

Allister has been trucking along for a good 10 years now,
and in that time we’ve been fortunate enough to travel
around the world playing music that we love. We’ve met
so many amazing people, and I feel really fortunate to
have been a part of this band… Before I get too sappy, I
just want to say thanks to everyone who supported us
over the years. Who knows what the future will hold, but
for the time being this is just the beginning of a new
chapter…

Scott Murphy and Allister
"

Mest drummer
Nick Gigler and ex-members of Homegrown and
Showoff have started a new band called
